THE JORU FOUNDATION

Outside of teaching Buddhism and Tibetan Language, I am dedicated to the non-profit organization I helped to found in 2008 called The Joru Foundation.  Our main goals are to sponsor the education of orphans inside Tibet at Sengdruk Taktse School, which is an amazing school for Tibetan orphans and underprivileged children in Tibet. I served as the vice principal  there for many years and came  to the United States in 2007 with the aim of helping these children by telling people about the school.  I will never stop working for these children. We care, house, and educate the children.  We are also currently trying to raise funds to build a Tibetan Medical and Astrological College next to the school on the land.  Watch the videos below to learn more.
